This is a group of hybrids that resulted from crosses between M. LILIIFLORA ‘Nigra’ and M. STELLATA ‘Rosea’ They are all rather erect, shrubby growers and will probably mature between 10 to 15′(20′). The flowers open before the leaves and make a magnificent display. Again in summer, sporadic flowers occur but are lighter colored owing to the heat.
